It’s a proud moment for NML KPS that our students have won in the State level School Athletic Championship 2015-16 which was conducted at Mohan Kumar Mangalam Stadium, Bokaro dated 15th Dec2015 to 17th dec2015 .Sunny Tiwary won the gold medal in the 100m & as well as in the 4x100m relay.

The year 2015 is the International Year of Light . The International Year of Light is a global initiative which will highlight to the citizens of the world the importance of light in their lives , for their future and for the development of Society. Gulmohur High School, Telco conducted HORIZON-2015 (Let’s Light the World) on 4th Dec, 2015 at 8:45am to generate awareness among our children to understand the importance of light in our daily lives. There were 7 activities in which children participated. We won in the following events:

1) DAZZLING RESOURCES (Advertisement) – 1ST Prize – Soumya Bharti , Shamreen Nahid & Suraj Kalindi were the participants. The teachers in charge were Arpita , Jasraj & Sangeeta.

2) RADIANT DIYAS – 3RD PRIZE – Khushi Sharma & Anushka Kalindi were the participants. The teachers in charge were Shibangi & Shailaja

The teacher responsible from our school was D.Harita.

Theater Association Jamshedpur (TAJ ) conducted a three day Drama Festival dated 21-23rd Aug 2015 at Milanee Club, Sakchi.
14 schools & professional theatre clubs participated in this festival which included plays in Hindi , English as well as Regional languages. Our school students enacted in English play Macbeth . The participants are as follows:

Our school won the 1st Prize & Shreya Singh got the best actress award as Lady Macbeth. The play was directed by Teacher Arpita Ray.

Group Dance for Girls Classical (Balea Nam Kevlam) was organized by Sangeet Samaj Telco on 13th Dec 2015 . Our school student won the Sarvottam Prize(1st ). The name of the participants were Shreya , Sonal , Swati , Simran & Nidhi.

Ms Runa Kumari is the dance teacher who trained our children so well.

11th State Archery Championship , Jharkhand 2015 was organized at J.R.D. Sports Complex from 5th to 9th Nov 2015 . Our school student Rohan Kumar of Std VII represented Jharkhand state. In the compound category he secured the 3rd position.

Mr.Amarnath Sharma is the coach who guided our children so well. Rohan would be participating for the National level .

It’s a proud moment for NML KPS that two students have won in the 2nd State Cadet Kyonugi Taekwondo Championship which was conducted at, R.K.Stadium ,Ranchi dated 29th – 30th Nov 2015 . In the under 29kgs girls category Sweta Singh won the gold medal & in the under 33kgs boys category Prashant Tiwary won the Silver medal.

15th Jharkhand State Taekwondo Championship was conducted at Cresent Public school , Sector 6 Bokaro Steel City dated 2nd – 4 th Oct 2015 . In the sub Junior category our school children won medals. The names are as follows:

1. Sweta Singh – Won Gold medal 2. Prashant Tiwary – Won Gold medal 3. Soham Mishra – Won the bronze medal

All India Yoga Championship 2015 was organized by Yoga Society of Kashmir. Our school student Chandan Kumar Mauriya of Std X represented Jharkhand state which was held at Sher – i- Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex , Srinagar , Kashmir on 3rd & 4th Oct 2015. In the boys category of age14-17yrs he secured Third position.
