NML Kerala Public school organised its 5th Commencement Ceremony on 18 January 2020 for the graduating students of Std. X. In order to make the event successful, many preparations were made by the teachers and the students. The successful students in various fields such as education, sports, cultural programmes etc. were to be honoured in the event.

Dr. Shrikant Nair and Ms.Rachana Nair were the Guest of Honour for the evening. The principals and the vice principals of different branches of Kerala Public School were also invited as guests to witness the grand celebration. The parents of the graduating students were invited to be a part of the show. The function was organised at the school premises.

The programme began with the students proudly marching to the stage led by the School President Arfa Eram holding the school flag and the presidents of Sports, Cultural, Interact Club,Safe Club carrying the house flags. As the students reached their position at the stage, the ceremony was inaugurated by the chief guest and the other dignitaries with a prayer song.

After the inauguration, Ms. Gurmeet Kaur , Principal, NML Kerala Public School, addressed the gathering with an inspiring story. Through her motivational speech, she shared her deep concern for the students and wished them luck for their board exams. There were 99 students who participated in the graduation ceremony. The students were awarded with their graduating certificates by the chief guest.

The School President, Arfa Eram presented his valedictory speech. Along with him, there were some more graduating students who shared their mixed feelings of joy and sorrow with the audience.

Some extraordinary students were awarded with the most prestigious awards of the evening i.e the ‘Principal’s Awards’ for their immense dedication and hard work towards the academic and non academic areas. Arfa Eram received the most honourable award of the evening i.e the ‘Shri APR Nair Award’ for her unmatched academic and non academic performance right from the beginning of her school life.

A motivational dance performance was presented by the Dance Hobby students.
The chief guest addressed the gathering with his inspirational speech and motivated the children to take risk in life to achieve success, name and fame.

Lastly, the students were handed over the candles by the teachers as a symbol of knowledge piercing the darkness of ignorance.

Honoring the achievers with accolades, Annual Prize Distribution for session 2018-19 was held with great zeal and enthusiasm at NML Kerala Public School, Agrico.
Col. Vikramjeet Singh Panag, graced the occasion as the esteemed Chief Guest. Director of NML Kerala Public School, Dr. Srikant Nair, Mrs. Gurmeet Kaur , the Principal and Mrs. Rajni Sharma, the Vice-Principal NML Kerala Public School took the honour to welcome the guests. The programme commenced with lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by Shloka chanting and a western group song.
The Principal of the School, Mrs. Gurmeet Kaur presented the Annual Report for the last academic session.
The ebullient dancers of the school presented a western group dance performance. Accolades were bestowed to the exceptional and outstanding performers in the field of Academics as well as CBSE Toppers ,Simran Sinha and Kajal Kumari.
The Chief Guest, in his address applauded and bestowed the prize winners for their bright future.
The vote of thanks was rendered by Mrs. Rajni Sharma, the Vice- Principal of the school.
The programme ended with the National Anthem. The function was a grand success and was appreciated by all.

A session on Phonics was conducted at NML KERALA PUBLIC SCHOOL on 23rd & 24th October, 2019 for Pre Primary teachers of all Kerala Public Schools. Ms. Shainaz Jussa was the resource person who is certified trainer for Jolly Phonics and Jolly Grammar and she runs her own Phonics training centre in Mumbai,India called Phonickids.

A total of 70 teachers from different school attended the session which extremely beneficial and enriching.
KPS Academic Directors Dr. Rachana Nair & Mrs. Laxmi Sharat were also present in the entire workshop of 2days.

The theme was Shades of India . 43 students participated in the presentation. Our Principal madam Gurmeet Kour was the chief guest .
Parents were invited to witness the programme.The students were dressed as per the theme of the programme. Overall response was excellent.The events were as follows

• Autos and vans are being stopped if they are exceeding the passenger limit.

• Road safety workshop conducted for all auto and van drivers.
